Pastor Francis oversees 800 churches in East Africa, 265 of which he has personally planted. He also started and operates with his wife Hannah, Nakuru House of Hope; a residential educational facility to vocationally train and equip the children of Nakuru, giving them hope and a future and introducing them to the great and redeeming love of Jesus Christ. |

Pastor Francis Macharia ~ Biography My name is Francis Macharia. I was born in a Non-Christian family. At the age of 24, through a street preacher, I gave my life to Jesus. Six months later, my wife also gave her life to the Lord.
As a couple, God gave us a passion to reach the unsaved. One year later, we started our ministry by preaching in the market place. As a result, people were saved and we started Church planting. So far, we have planted 265 churches and are over 800 churches in the East African countries.
In 1998, our good God called us to take in street children. We now have 2 orphanages -- 1 for the girls, and 1 for the boys. There are a total of 68 children in the orphanages.
